at eaton manor
2024 has been full to the brim as we have celebrated 90 years at Eaton Manor!
We’ve welcomed new and returning guests…lots of families holidaying here, weddings, retreats, special celebrations, filming, even a murder mystery evening, and a choir visiting for Songs of Praise at Eaton church.
We’ve also supported some fantastic local charities and hosted a very special celebration lunch in November to mark 90 years of the Madeley family looking after Eaton Manor.
Family Holidays
We’ve had lots of families enjoying their holidays here, exploring the great outdoors and having fun in the pool, games barn and soft play.
Weddings
Abi has been busy making wedding dreams a reality for our couples, doing showrounds of our venue, helping with wedding plans and assisting on the big day!
Retreats
We’ve welcomed all sorts of retreat hosts and their guests this year, from Yoga to Business and Song Writing to Women’s Wellness.
Special Celebrations
Special Celebrations are very popular as we have our large accessible venue, perfect for gathering everyone for a special dinner or a party.
Filming
We had a film crew here earlier in the year, to film a special short film and the Heywood Room provided the perfect spot for the film set to be created.
Murder Mystery Evening
A local group enjoyed a Murder Mystery evening in the Banqueting Room, with catering by our local chef, Oak Apple Catering.
Local Charity Support
We supported our local Classic Vehicle Day in August, which raised £700 for Severn Hospice and the same for our local Ticklerton Village Hall.
Eaton Teddy
Children love having a go at our Go Wild Challenge when they visit, and we now have our very own cuddly Eaton Teddys to give them as prizes!
Choir
We hosted the Dacorum Community Choir from Hemel Hempstead who took part in the Songs of Praise service at Eaton Church, and other local events.
Wedding Fayre
We hosted our first ever Wedding Fayre, with couples able to view our venue and cottages, and meet lots of fabulous wedding suppliers.
Firework-Free Estate
Fireworks aren’t allowed here and so we had lots of dogs and owners staying during this time to enjoy a peaceful weekend away from the bangs.
90th Year Celebrations
2024 marks 90 years since the Madeleys moved to Eaton. We celebrated with a celebration lunch and raised funds for Lingen Davies Cancer fund.
