In June, we had the pleasure of hosting the wedding celebration of Sarah & Edwin at Eaton Manor.
Sarah has very kindly given us the low down on their special day, as well as permission to use their amazing wedding photos and video.

How our day began…
We both grew up in Shropshire and now live away but decided to return to the beautiful countryside to gather all our friends and family together to celebrate our marriage.
I got ready at my family home nearby, surrounded by my bridesmaids and family, while Edwin was at Curlew Cottage at Eaton Manor getting suited and booted with all his groomsmen and family.
Our wedding service was at my local church in Cardington, just 10 minutes from Eaton Manor and then we travelled to Eaton Manor in an Aston Martin Rapide with blue sky and the sun shining!
Our Drinks Reception & Photos
When we arrived at Eaton Manor, we were greeted with champagne and canapes served in the Secret Garden, looking out on to views of the Wenlock Edge and down the valley.
The surrounding countryside is just beautiful, and if you are lucky enough with the weather like we were, you can’t wish for a better venue – the views are just stunning!
During the drinks reception we had photos with our family and friends, captured by Hall of Fame Photography, with White Oak Media working in the background capturing video – we would highly recommend them both.
Our wedding breakfast and evening party…
Eaton Manor feels different to other wedding venues as it feels very personal. We were able to decorate the venue the day before our wedding, with the assistance of Abi and some of our family and friends, to make it just how we wanted. We went for a rustic style with wooden chairs, logs on the tables and seasonal June flowers with a green and pink theme.
We asked one of our groomsmen to undertake the role of MC and he got everybody seated in the Banqueting Room where we enjoyed paella and cheesecake for our wedding breakfast.
After the speeches and the meal, we danced the night away in the Heywood Room next door, to Synergy, our amazing band who are based in Shropshire.
Thank you so much to the Eaton Manor team with a special mention to Abi, our fabulous wedding coordinator! Our wedding was so much more than we hoped for and this was down to our beautiful venue.
