eaton manor is A
firework free zone
Eaton Manor is a Firework-Free Zone for Dogs!
We know how scared some dogs can be when they hear fireworks, making certain times of the year very stressful for them, therefore we don’t allow fireworks at any time of the year at Eaton Manor.
Firework-free holiday with your dog
It is well documented that Fireworks can frighten animals. The RSPCA received over 12,000 responses over the two years 21/22 to their impact reporting survey, each detailing the fear responses demonstrated by animals and the experiences of their owners.
At Eaton Manor we are dog owners ourselves, and our neighbouring farm has lots of horses, not to mention the huge variety of wildlife on our estate. Therefore, we don’t allow fireworks.
Whether it’s Bonfire Night, Diwali, Christmas, New Year’s Eve or an event near you with fireworks, then rest assured that you can enjoy a peaceful stay here, as well as endless dog walks in beautiful Shropshire countryside.
Dogs are very welcome at Eaton Manor!
As dog owners ourselves, we know the importance of being able to bring your dog(s) on holiday with you, and we love welcoming dogs to Eaton Manor just as much as their owners.
Your four-legged friend will feel just as at home as you whilst here at Eaton Manor, with their very own welcome pack including blanket, bowl, towel and treats.
Each pack also includes an ID tag for dogs to wear during their stay, just in case they decide to have a roam around on their own! Although, as all of our holiday cottages are dog-friendly, and the gardens/patios at each are enclosed, this should hopefully be unlikely.
Our own dog, Moose (pictured here), looks forward to welcoming everyone to Eaton Manor.
Dog friendly accommodation
All eight of our holiday cottages are dog friendly.
The 5 larger cottages (The Manor House, Toad Hall, Pendennis, Curlew Cottage and Garden Cottage) have their own lovely big enclosed gardens, perfect for dogs.
The 3 smaller cottages (Great Western Lodge, Woodpecker Way and Pheasant Walk) have their own enclosed private patio areas.
There are lots of wonderful walks from the door of each cottage, and with 500 acres of private countryside to explore, the dog walking possibilities are endless.
To top it off, your dog can enjoy a lovely warm dog wash to clean off afterwards.
We had a lovely 6 days stay at Pheasant Walk. It was well set up for our dogs, loved the warm water shower to wash the dogs down after muddy walks… Walks from the house were plentiful, it was quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries
